TERMS OF SALE:
We gladly offer Net 30 accounts to all Educational Institutions and Government Agencies provided that orders are placed using official purchase orders signed by authorized agents.  Phone orders and purchase requisition orders will not be shipped until the receipt of an official signed purchase order.

Net 10 accounts are available to our established customers once certain credit requirements are met.  Please contact us for more information.

All other purchases are pre-paid and on a first come, first serve basis.  Purchases must be picked up in their entirety at the time of sale, we do not have storage space for partial pick-ups.  Only pre-paid phone / e-mail orders will be pulled and held for pick-up.

PRICES:
In today's market place, the cost of materials, fuel surcharges and labor is constantly changing and as a result the prices on raw materials, finished goods and services can change suddenly without notice.  Prices listed in catalogs and web sites may not be current and if exact amounts are needed please contact us for current pricing information. 

All shipments are calculated at current pricing levels on the date of shipment, unless a valid written quote is in place.


UPS ORDERS

All orders less than 250 pounds are shipped via UPS. 

Give complete descriptions and exact quantities. Please include your complete shipping address and daytime phone number(s). Due to the high cost of labor, all orders under $20.00, exclusive of shipping charges, are subject to a $5.00 handling fee.

Orders from schools and government agencies will be accepted on a net 30-day basis when received on formal purchase orders. These items will be shipped prepaid and charges will be included on invoice.

Packages are sent UPS ground unless otherwise requested and the standard transit time for Texas is 1-2 days depending on location. 

In order to calculate shipping please use our standard box dimensions of 13” x 13” x 13”.  Glazes, clay and dry materials are sold by weight and can be calculated according to quantity you are purchasing.  UPS characterizes a residential delivery according to how the address is zoned not by presence of a business on the premises.

*Most raw materials and clay are “dirt” cheap but are very heavy.  The UPS shipping estimator will help determine if the shipping will cost more than the materials.

Items requiring special packaging such as kiln shelves will be assessed an additional $10.00 or 10% (the greater of the two).

Rush orders:
Rush orders will have an additional charge of $20.00. In most cases, they will ship the same day if received before 11:00 AM or next day if received after 11:00 AM. All rush orders are pending availability of merchandise ordered.

It is a company policy NOT to make COD shipments for any reason. Visa and MasterCard are accepted when placing phone orders.

Sales tax of 8.25 % will be added, unless a valid tax certificate accompanies the order or we have a current one on file. The following are links to the state comptroller where you can complete the form and fax it to Armadillo Clay @ 512-385-1152.

In the Event of Damage:
Armadillo Clay does NOT ship damaged goods. When your order leaves our warehouse there will be no broken bags, no crushed boxes or drums, no leaking containers, and everything will be packaged as carefully as possible to get it to you in the proper condition. All orders will ship complete.  PLEASE inspect your order when it arrives and make any damage notations with the UPS driver.   Notify UPS regarding the damage in order to begin the claims process.  UPS does have deadlines for filing claims and you must contact them within a timely manner.  YOU MUST NOTIFY US WITHIN 3 DAYS, for us to consider responsibility for the missing items.

FREIGHT ORDERS
All orders over 250 pounds are shipped via a freight company. 

The shipments are palletized and wrapped.  The palletizing fee is $11.00 and each pallet’s maximum weight is 2500#.

Orders from schools and government agencies will be accepted on a net 30-day basis when received on formal purchase orders. These items will be shipped prepaid freight and freight charges will be included on invoice. Shipments are sent with the most cost-effective company.  Freight charges will vary with weight and distance.

The standard transit time for Texas is 1-3 days depending on location. 

It is the responsibility of the person or company receiving the shipment to unload the materials from the back of the truck.  Additional charges are assessed for residential delivery (zoned by the city not by the presence of a business on the premises), lift-gate delivery, telephone notification, unloading or inside delivery.

Armadillo Clay does NOT ship damaged goods. The CARRIER who delivers the shipment is responsible for its condition when it reaches you.  All damages visible or concealed are the responsibility of the person or company receiving the shipment to notate.  Upon receipt of the shipment and before signing or paying for the delivery, inspect for damage or shortages and note such information on the bill of lading.  You must notify Armadillo Clay of damage or shortage within 3 business days.
