Spectrum Raku glazes are all lead-free and require a raku firing process to achieve the results shown. For the purpose of this sample, Spectrum defines "raku firing process" as follows:
Pieces are fired to 1750 F (950 C) in an electric or gas kiln. While still red-hot, the glazed piece should be transferred into a reduction bin (a small seal-able metal container containing organic material). The reduction bin should be closed and the piece allowed to cool for at lease twenty minutes before removing and cleaning it.
Comes in a 4-ounce jar.
PLEASE NOTE: This glaze will not give the shown results unless fired in raku.
