These basic studio dipping glazes made by Armadillo Clay are designed for economy and efficiency. Available in dry form in 5 lb or 25 lb increments. Food safe.
Mixing Instructions:
Mix entire package at once.Add approximately 1 pint of water per 1 lb of dry glaze. Slake overnight. Mix well and sieve thoroughly before use. Thin with additional water as needed.
Suspension: We recommend adding 2% bentonite (by dry weight) or another suspension agent of your choice to this glaze, as it has a tendency to settle out.
Application:
Apply to cone 04 bisqueware and fire to cone 5/6.
